Ladder Media takes its name from Jacob’s ladder – the dream connecting earth and heaven. We aim to produce books, films, TV programmes, which make some connection between earth and heaven..

Ladder Media is a Christian Equitable Company, in which investors and workers are locked into a ‘love your neighbour as you love yourself’ relationship. The Great Commandment of Jesus provides the foundation for building the company, with all details developed from that foundation. For instance, any profit to be distributed is given to both workers and investors according to how much time or money each has contributed to the company. The financial value of any investment is tied to the level of wages in the company, not to any ‘market value.’ It is therefore in the interest of investors that workers are paid more. Investors can reclaim their investment, increased according to wage inflation, but they cannot sell that investment. When investors die they, like workers, cease to be entitled to any profit, and their investment is repaid to their estate, increased according to wage inflation. Investors gain a fair return on their money, but this return does not continue and accrue over generations.
